What you need to do for a Pain Free Squat: Part 4 of 4

Welcome back!! I know you read Part 1, 2, 3 right???

Last part of the Squat Series-but definitely not least: The Spine.

In order do a deep squat your low back (lumbar spine) has to be mobile- being able to create shape in both flexion and extension.

We are going to get right into it!

Follow along in this video to assess, mobilize and exercise your way for a happy spine!

You are so close to learning all that you need to know for your deepest squat!

Video Notes:

Assess:

Wide squat with lumbar movement

1st Movement:

Roll up with/without towel

5 times each

2nd Movement:

Lumbar Cat/Cow

5-10 times

Integrate day 1-4: Exercise-Rolling Like a Ball to stand, and the Deep squat

These video tutorials are to how you what you need to do for a Pain Free Squat, and all the parts that go into it.

Doing each video ONCE, will not get you there. BUT- doing these videos regularly to train your joints in addition to squatting - WILL!!!
