Pilates is the Answer.

You may have read in “My Story” how my interest in the spine started. Experiencing the challenges in life with my husband battling a low back disc herniation was enough to steer me into this direction. I started working at Texas Back Institute in Plano, TX. That job highlighted how many people just didn't move their spine enough. Even I didn't move my spine enough. And I couldn't be OK with being the Physical Therapist to help others only after the spine surgery, disc herniation, or major flare up.

So I kept on searching. In myself and in others. Years on figuring out what it was that still kept me feeling a little empty in my practice. I went back to school, and then became comprehensively trained in Pilates and then certified in Functional Range Conditioning.

Fast Forward 10 years later. I have a small studio with a single Pilates Reformer, doing private training, both virtually and in person. Working almost exclusively with women dealing with low back pain and hip restrictions.

And I've never been so happy and fulfilled. Trust me when I tell you I haven't had so many emotional break downs and self doubt, and will continue to do so. Yet I can also tell you that I'm loving every moment I get to help the women be their strongest self. Plus, we have lots of fun doing it!

My dreams have come true I now own a PT plus Pilates practice- putting all my loves in one space.

Never would I have guessed growing up, that the key to my personal life and career is Pilates.

I guess the saying I have seen is true:

"Pilates is the answer."

I hope you all find your "something". And if you want to join me and see what's so cool about Pilates- I am open to a free Discovery Call.
